ECPS Academy Uniform Policy

At ECPS, our goal is to follow the biblical principal of modesty in our apparel. It also creates a clean and uniform appearance in the classroom. During the school day, we would like our students to be mentally geared towards academic excellence. The uniform policy will be strictly enforced.

The uniform policy applies to all clothing that is worn inside the classroom, including sweaters.

"We are excited to have partnered up with DENNIS UNIFORMS - a highly reputable and quality school uniform company."

Lunch Information

We have a healthy lunch program served for our students at the cost of $2.85/per lunch. Purchasing school lunch is optional.

The lunch is prepared FRESH daily!

Transportation

Transportation is not provided by ECPS at this time, although it may become available depending on enrollment and need. It is the parent/guardian's duty to arrange for transportation to/from school.

Immunization Requirements

We are required to report immunization information of each student to the appropriate Washington State department. Please submit your child’s most updated immunization information prior to school starting.

Service Hours

3.5 hours/month or 35/year - per family.

If not able to fulfill: Cost: $15/hour

In order to maintain an overall low cost for our families, we ask that parents put in service hours to provide support to the school in areas where we would otherwise need to hire additional staff (e.g. supervising lunch time and recesses.) In our first year, our parents were asked to volunteer one day per month. We are thankful that parents so willingly made this commitment to put in their monthly volunteer requirement.

Remember... a Christian school is a ministry in the eyes of God. Typically, the teachers and staff are paid well below what they can be earning in a secular organization. Therefore, even a duty such as volunteering at a Christian school is doing a good deed for God’s working field; in this case the harvest will be our children- the growing generation.

FAQ: What if I have a serious reason (E.g. working full-time, new born baby, etc.) to not be able to volunteer and I really can't afford to pay the cost of non-volunteering?

What has worked well for our parents who were not able to come in was to ask a relative or friend to come in for them to volunteer. If you have a situation where you cannot come in for a period of time (e.g. new born baby) we will definitely work with your situation to post-pone your volunteer hours for a while until you are able to come in.
