Electives
Enriching the educational experience
Evergreen Christian Private School offers four elective programs designed to support students’ spiritual, academic, and physical growth.
Russian Language
Russian language instruction is offered from Preschool through Grade 8. Learning a second language benefits students by expanding cognitive development and cultural understanding, while also honoring the traditions of Slavic Gospel Church, where our campus is located, whose community originated from Europe.
Bible
Bible class is offered from Preschool through Grade 8. Bible classes are the most important elective at Evergreen Christian Private School. Students study God’s Word in depth, memorize Scripture, and grow in their understanding of God’s promises. This course serves as the foundation for spiritual formation across all grade levels.
Physical Education
Physical Education is offered from Preschool through Grade 8. Students participate in a variety of activities, games, and sports that promote strength, coordination, and overall health. They are also taught the biblical principle that their bodies are temples and are encouraged to care for them responsibly.
Choir & Worship
Students in Preschool through Grade 5 participate in choir, where they learn Christian songs in preparation for scheduled school performances. Middle school students (Grades 6–8) have the opportunity to participate in an after-school worship program, leading worship during school chapels.
